Tensions are rising over the hosting of Asia Cup 2025, as India has put forward a proposal that Pakistan is yet to accept. If Pakistan refuses, it could lead to major logistical and political complications, putting the PCB in a difficult position and casting doubts over the tournament’s future.

Asia Cup 2025 is to be played in T20 format. Uncertainty still remains on this tournament to be hosted by Pakistan. India is not ready to accept any of Pakistan's demands regarding the tournament.
