In the final of the French Open 2025, he won his fifth Grand Slam title by defeating world number-1 Yannick Sinner 4-6, 6-7, 6-4, 7-6, 7-6 in a thrilling match that lasted five hours and 29 minutes. The match was very exciting, in which Alcaraz was behind in the beginning, but he made a brilliant comeback and did wonders by winning the title.
After losing the first two sets in the final match, it seemed that Janik Sinner would easily win the title, but Alcaraz showed why he is called the biggest star of the next generation. In the fourth set, when Alcaraz was trailing 3-5 and seemed close to defeat, he saved three consecutive match points to take the match to a tiebreak and won the set 7-6.
In the tiebreak of the decisive set, Alcaraz did not give any chance to Sinner from the beginning and by taking a strong lead of 7-0, he won the title.
