Team India to leave for Dubai for Asia Cup 2025, not all players together

Team India is ready for Asia Cup 2025. This tournament is going to start from September 9, which will run till 28th. A total of 8 teams including India will compete for the title. Team India's first match is scheduled against UAE on September 10. Six days before this, i.e. on September 4, all the players of the team will gather in Dubai. A big update has come on the travel plan of the team captained by Suryakumar Yadav. In which it was said that different players of the team will reach UAE.

It usually happens that for a tournament, all the players used to gather in Mumbai first and then leave for the venue from there, but this time it is not so. All the players included in the squad will reach Dubai from their respective places at different times. The Board of Control for Cricket in India has taken this decision keeping in mind the logistics and travel convenience of the players.

What was revealed in the report?

In the PTI report, a senior official of the board was quoted as saying that 'all the players will reach Dubai by the evening of September 4. The first net session will be held on September 5 at the ICC Academy. Keeping in mind the logistical facility, players will be allowed to fly to Dubai from their respective cities. Some players will travel from Mumbai, but other players will not be asked to come to Mumbai first and then go to Dubai. The team will start preparations from September 5 Suryakumar Yadav and company will start their preparations by reaching Dubai six days before the Asia Cup 2025. The first net session will be held on September 5 at the ICC Academy. Here all the players will sweat and prepare. The team can be seen practicing continuously from September 4 to 9. However, no fixed schedule has been revealed in this regard yet. These players will not fly with the final team Yashasvi Jaiswal, Prasidh Krishna and Washington Sundar are on standby for Asia Cup 2025, they are currently playing Duleep Trophy. In such a situation, they will not travel to Dubai with the rest of the players. If needed, these players can fly to Dubai.
