Bilaspur,C.G
Continuous rain led to water accumulation on the runway at Bilasa Airport, forcing the Delhi-Bilaspur flight to land in Raipur instead.
The Delhi-Bilaspur flight had to be diverted to Raipur due to waterlogging on the runway of Bilaspur Airport in Chhattisgarh due to rain. The flight returned to Delhi without passengers after landing the passengers here. Due to this, more than 40 passengers had to postpone their journey. At the same time, the passengers who were landed in Raipur also had to face trouble.
According to the information, the Alliance Air flight departs from Delhi in the morning and reaches Bilaspur at 11:10 am via Jabalpur. But due to heavy rain last night, the runway of Bilaspur Airport was flooded, due to which the plane was not allowed to land there. In such a situation, the pilot took the plane to Raipur and at around 12:10 pm, more than 40 passengers present there were disembarked and the flight was sent back to Delhi. The passengers who landed in Raipur reached Bilaspur by their personal arrangement, while the passengers waiting for the flight at Bilaspur Airport were disappointed and had to postpone their journey.
