Chhattisgarh Transfers 8 IAS and 19 State Service Officers, New Postings Announced

The Chhattisgarh government has transferred eight IAS officers and 19 State Administrative Service officers, assigning fresh responsibilities across key departments, municipal bodies and district panchayats.
The Chhattisgarh government has carried out another administrative reshuffle, transferring eight Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers and 19 State Administrative Service officers while assigning them new responsibilities across key departments and district administrations.
The General Administration Department (GAD) issued the transfer orders late Tuesday night, with several officers receiving additional charges and fresh district-level assignments. The latest exercise comes shortly after the state government transferred 43 IAS officers and appointed new collectors in seven districts.
Remigius Ekka Gets Additional Charge of SUDA
Senior IAS officer Remigius Ekka has been entrusted with the additional responsibility of the State Urban Development Agency (SUDA) along with his existing role in the Urban Administration and Development Department.
The government has also appointed Gajendra Singh Thakur as Deputy Secretary in the Revenue, Disaster Management and Rehabilitation Department.
District Panchayats Get New CEOs
The reshuffle includes appointments to several district panchayats.
Prateek Jain has been posted as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Zila Panchayat Korba, while Jayant Nahata has been appointed CEO of Zila Panchayat Dhamtari. M. Bhargav has been assigned to Dantewada, Tanmay Khanna to Bastar and Durga Prasad Adhikari to Rajnandgaon as Chief Executive Officers of their respective district panchayats.
Gokul Ram Rabte has been posted as CEO of Zila Panchayat Mungeli, Ashutosh Chaturvedi as CEO of Zila Panchayat Balrampur-Ramanujganj, and Abhishek Kumar Gupta has been appointed CEO of Zila Panchayat Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki.
New Posting for Bhilai Municipal Corporation
Suruchi Singh has been appointed Commissioner of Bhilai Municipal Corporation as part of the latest administrative changes.
The government has also reassigned several State Administrative Service officers to departments handling education, health, civil supplies and cooperative institutions.

Among the State Administrative Service officers, Indrajeet Barman has been given a new responsibility in the Health Services Department.
Rajiv Kumar Pandey has been posted to the Directorate of Higher Education, while Bharti Chandrakar has been assigned to MARKFED. Dinesh Kumar Nag has been transferred to the Chhattisgarh State Civil Supplies Corporation, and Nayantara Singh Tomar has been posted to the Directorate of Medical Education.
Prabhakar Pandey has been shifted to the Sports and Youth Welfare Department, while Shashank Pandey has been posted to the Chhattisgarh Road Infrastructure Development Corporation.
Part of Continuing Administrative Restructuring
The latest transfer order is part of the state's ongoing administrative restructuring aimed at strengthening governance and improving departmental coordination. The reshuffle follows an earlier round in which 43 IAS officers were transferred and several key administrative positions, including district collectors, were reassigned.
Officials said the new postings will take effect as per the orders issued by the General Administration Department.
