Like every year, MLA Rajesh Munat is going to organize a huge Kavad Yatra in the capital Raipur this year as well. A big meeting was organized in the District BJP Office Ekta Complex regarding the preparations for this Yatra. All the officials and workers were given guidelines regarding the upcoming Kavad Yatra on August 3 and the responsibility of the Yatra arrangements has been entrusted to them. The Kavad Yatra will start on August 3 with tableaux and music, at 9:30 am from Hanuman Temple at Gudhyari, where devotees will offer water after reaching Hatkeshwar Nath Temple. Where flower showers, fireworks and bhandaar will also be arranged at different places.
This year preparations are being made to make the Kavad Yatra grand. Along with local folk artists, artists from other states have also been invited for the performance.
In Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, the team playing Damru and Dhol in Baba Mahakal's procession, the team presenting Aghori dance from Uttar Pradesh, the live tableau of Maa Kali performed by young girls from Uttar Pradesh, the team of famous artists presenting in Sambalpuri musical instruments in the costume of Bahubali Kattapa of Odisha, the group of artists presenting famous dance artists from Chhattisgarh like tribal dance, Panthi dance and Raut Nacha, the moving tableau of Lord Bholenath and the leading Dhol Dhumal party of the state will give their performances which will be the main attraction of the Kavad Yatra.
