CM Sai to Meet South Korean Investors, 40th Chakradhar Samaroh & MBBS-BDS Registration Begin

Chief Minister Sai will hold discussions with South Korean investors from today. Meanwhile, the 40th Chakradhar Samaroh is set to begin, and the second round of registration for remaining MBBS-BDS seats has also started.

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai's foreign tour continues. The Chief Minister will participate in round table meetings with investors from South Korea from today to August 29. He will invite foreign investors to invest in Chhattisgarh.

The 40th Chakradhar Festival will begin today
The 40th Chakradhar Festival is going to begin from August 27 in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh, which will continue till September 5. Many famous artists of the country will perform in these 10 days. Also, wrestlers will show their skills in Kabaddi and wrestling in front of Moti Mahal from September 1 to 3.

Assistant teacher Angelina from Raipur will participate in the national workshop

Angelina Peter, posted as assistant teacher in PM Shri Government Veerangna Avanti Bai Lodhi Primary School Arang, has been selected by the Cultural Resource and Training Center (CCRT) New Delhi under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, for the workshop to be held in Udaipur, Rajasthan from August 27 to September 10.

In this workshop, 10 teachers have been selected from various districts across the state. Angelina Peter is the only assistant teacher from Raipur district who has been selected for the national level workshop. In this workshop, teachers from all over the country will also present the culture and traditions of their respective states. In the national level workshop, Angelina Peter from Raipur district, Dileshwari Devangan from Kawardha district, Umesh Kumar Thakur, Nisha Agarwal from Korba district, Maneka Sinha from Dhamtari district, Nilkanth Yadav from Mahasamund district, Priya Singh from Surguja district, Aparna Sharma from Bemetara district will represent Chhattisgarh state.

Second round of registration for the remaining MBBS-BDS seats starts today

The process of admission to MBBS and BDS first year is going on in Chhattisgarh. A total of 1,988 seats were allotted in the first phase of counseling, out of which 1,534 seats were for MBBS and 454 seats were for BDS. Of these, students have taken admission in 1,396 seats of MBBS and 284 seats of BDS. The second phase for the remaining seats will start from Wednesday.

Essay competition on Main aur Mera Chhattisgarh 2047

Nalanda Campus Management Society, Raipur is organizing an essay competition on the topic 'Main aur Mera Chhattisgarh 2047'. Current and former members of Nalanda Campus, Central Library and Takshila Library can participate in this creative competition. The objective of the competition is to give creative expression to the imagination of the future of Chhattisgarh state, direction of development, and personal contribution. Essays can be written in Hindi, Chhattisgarhi or English in a maximum of 750 words. Only handwritten essays will be valid. The last date for submission of essays is 31 August 2025, 5.30 pm. Participants can submit their essay in a sealed envelope to the concerned librarian at Nalanda Campus, Central Library, Takshila Library.

Ban on sale of meat and mutton even today

Sale of meat and mutton will be banned on Wednesday on Paryushan festival in Raipur Municipal Corporation area. Strict action will also be taken against hotels selling meat. Sanitation inspection teams will supervise all meat and mutton shops.
