VHP and Bajrang Dal object to non-Hindu sponsorship at a Garba event, alleging an attempt to harm the sanctity of the religious festival.

The VHP and Bajrang Dal have strongly opposed the inclusion of non-Hindus as sponsors in Garba events during Navratri. They argue that the inclusion of non-Hindus as sponsors violates the sanctity of Garba. They are the ones who harm the festival of faith. They have also announced that if non-Hindus are not excluded from Garba events, they will reach the venue and recite the Hanuman Chalisa.

VHP Bajrang Dal District President Shankar Lal Gupta stated that the inclusion of non-Hindus as sponsors in Garba events violates the sanctity of Garba. Obscenity, vulgarity, and nudity have increased in Garba. Non-Hindus are engaged in the work of harming the festival of faith, which will now be opposed by the VHP and Bajrang Dal.
