Jagdalpur. So far 19 bodies have been recovered in a major operation by security forces in Karregutta of Bijapur. These include 8 men and 11 women. Many big faces are included among the Naxalites killed.

Of the 19 Naxalites whose bodies have been recovered by the security forces, so far they have been identified as South Zonal Committee member and Galikonda Area Committee in-charge Kakuri Pandanna Jagan, Divisional Committee member and Kalimela Area Committee in-charge Vaga Podiami Ramesh. The process of identification of the remaining bodies is going on.

Let us tell you that the security forces have surrounded the Naxalites gathered on the hills of Karregutta, the last stronghold of Naxalites in Chhattisgarh, from all sides. The importance of this operation can be gauged from the fact that CRPF DG Gyanendra Pratap Singh was keeping an eye from Delhi.
