According to reports, the train arrived at platform number 2 late on Saturday night (December 27). As passengers began boarding, they spotted the body in one of the empty coaches and immediately alerted the authorities. The Railway Police (GRP) rushed to the spot, took possession of the body, and sent it for postmortem at a mortuary.

Preliminary investigation suggests the incident occurred when the coach was completely empty, pointing towards a possible suicide. However, police are also probing whether it could be a case of murder, as the exact circumstances remain unclear.

The young man's identity has not yet been established. Police are questioning nearby passengers, station staff, and railway employees to gather clues about the deceased and the reasons behind the incident. Relevant police stations have been informed, and the postmortem report is awaited to determine the precise cause of death.
