The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) has released the detailed timetable for the 2026 Class 10 and Class 12 Second Main (Supplementary) Examinations, offering another opportunity to students who could not clear one or more subjects in the annual board examinations or wish to improve their performance.

According to the official schedule, the supplementary examinations will be conducted in July 2026 in a single morning shift across designated examination centres in the state. Students can access the complete datesheet through the official CGBSE website.

The Class 12 supplementary examinations will commence on July 8, 2026, while the Class 10 examinations will begin on July 9, 2026.

Class 10 Exam Schedule

The Class 10 Second Main examinations will start with Mathematics on July 9 and conclude on July 21, 2026.

The subject-wise schedule is as follows:

• July 9: Mathematics

• July 11: First Language – Hindi

• July 14: Second Language – English

• July 16: Science

• July 18: Social Science

• July 20: Third Language Papers

• July 15: Vocational Course Examination

Class 12 Exam Schedule

The Class 12 supplementary examinations will begin with Hindi on July 8 and conclude on July 22, 2026.

The timetable includes:

• July 8: Hindi

• July 10: English

• July 11: Sanskrit

• July 15: Geography and Physics

• July 17: Political Science, Chemistry and Accountancy

• July 21: Mathematics

• July 22: Biology, Economics, Computer Application and several elective subjects

• July 20: Vocational subjects including Information Technology, Agriculture, Health Care, and Media & Entertainment

Second Chance for Students

The supplementary examinations are intended to provide students with another opportunity to successfully complete their board examinations without waiting for the next academic year. Candidates who were unsuccessful in one or more subjects or are eligible for the second main examination can appear as per the schedule released by the board.
