CM Sai to Hoist Tricolor in Raipur at 9 AM

On Independence Day, CM Sai will hoist the national flag in Raipur at 9 AM and take the salute of the parade.
All preparations have been completed for the dignified celebration of the 79th Independence Day in Chhattisgarh from the capital Raipur to the district headquarters, towns and villages. The state level main function of Independence Day will be held at the Police Parade Ground in Raipur from 9 am, where Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai will hoist the national flag. The Chief Minister will give his message to the people of the state after taking the salute of the attractive march past of the parade.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Sai will honor 25 police personnel of the state with gallantry medals, President's medals and Commendable Service Medals for extraordinary courage and excellent service. Performance of police band and horse show and cultural programs will also be organized in the main function.
On the occasion of 79th Independence Day, Union Minister of State Tokhan Sahu, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw in Bilaspur, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma in Durg will hoist the national flag at 9 am in the main function organized at Bastar district headquarters. Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh in Rajnandgaon, Tribal Development Minister Ramvichar Netam in Surguja, Food Minister Dayaldas Baghel in Gariaband, Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap in Balod, Industry Minister Lakhan Lal Devangan in Korba, Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal in Jashpur, Finance Minister OP Choudhary in Raigarh, Women and Child Development Minister Laxmi Rajwade in Surajpur, Revenue Minister Tankaram Verma in Janjgir-Champa, MP Brijmohan Agarwal in Balodabazar, MP Vijay Baghel in Bemetara, MP Santosh Pandey in Kawardha, MP Chintamani Maharaj in Balrampur, MP Roopkumari Choudhary in Mahasamund, MP Radheshyam Rathia in Sarangarh, MP Kamlesh Jangde in Sakti, MP Mahesh Kashyap in Bijapur, MP Bhojraj Nag in Kanker, MP Devendra Pratap Singh in Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai will hoist the flag at the main function organized at the district headquarters.
