Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai will attend various programs in Bilaspur and Raipur today. He will depart for Bilaspur at 9:10 am and attend the Silver Jubilee Celebrations at the Chhattisgarh High Court in Bilaspur at 11 am. He will then travel to Sendri in Bilaspur district, where he will attend the inauguration, meritorious student awards, and the inauguration of the provincial culture festival at 2:35 pm. He will then arrive in Raipur at 4:20 pm and participate in the World Tourism Day program at a private hotel in Raipur at 9 pm.
Congress to Investigate Godavari Steel Accident
The Congress party has taken seriously the death and injury of several workers in the Godavari Steel accident in the Silatara industrial area near the capital. The State Congress Committee has formed a six-member committee headed by former minister and senior leader Dhanendra Sahu. PCC President Deepak Baij has directed the committee to immediately visit the affected area and discuss the situation with the affected people, accident victims, villagers, and officials, including the steel plant management. The committee has been directed to submit its investigation report as soon as possible. In addition to Dhanendra Sahu, District Rural President Udhoram Verma, General Secretary Deepak Mishra, Birgaon Mayor Nandlal Devangan, Anita Sharma, and Chhaya Verma have been appointed as members of the inquiry committee.
Deputy Chief Minister Sahu's Bilaspur Visit
Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sahu will be on a visit to Bilaspur district today. As per the scheduled program, he will attend the Silver Jubilee Celebration program at the Bilaspur High Court. After this program, he will visit Saraswati Shishu Mandir Koni and participate in the inauguration ceremony and felicitation of meritorious students. He will spend the night in Bilaspur.
