Bilaspur. Hearing will continue in the High Court on the petition challenging the election of former Chief Minister of the state and Patan MLA Bhupesh Baghel. The court has rejected the demand to dismiss the petition on technical points. The next hearing of this case will be held on June 18.

Durg MP Vijay Baghel has filed an election petition in the High Court, alleging disregard of the Model Code of Conduct and the instructions of the Election Commission in the Patan assembly elections.
