Two big political events are going to be held in Madhya Pradesh today, on one hand in the capital Bhopal where Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the Nari Shakti Maha Sammelan. On the other hand, the first 'Jai Hind Sabha' will be organized by the Congress in Jabalpur. In which the party will raise questions on the military policies of the central government and the issue of Pakistan.
Three former Congress Chief Ministers - Digvijay Singh, Kamal Nath and Bhupesh Baghel will participate in this national level program organized at the Shaheed Memorial Complex located at Gol Bazar. Along with this, state president Jeetu Patwari and state in-charge will also be present. The program will be inaugurated by paying tribute to the martyrs at the Shaurya Smarak located in the cantonment. For this, former CM Digvijay Singh, Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar and Congress State President Jeetu Patwari have reached Jabalpur.
Priyanka and Rahul Gandhi's visit cancelled
Earlier, it was expected that Priyanka Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi would also attend the program, but their visit was cancelled at the last moment, due to which the workers were disappointed. Congress leader Sajjan Singh gave this information in a press conference on Friday.
Strategy to highlight failures
Soldiers involved in Operation Sindoor will be honored in Jai Hind Sabha. Congress leaders will adopt a strategy to highlight the alleged failures of the Center's defense policies, foreign policy and Pakistan from this platform. Sajjan Singh Verma said that this meeting is being organized with the message of public awareness and patriotism. During the meeting, Congress leaders will also register their protest against the recent statements of the state government's Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Devda and Minister Vijay Shah, calling them insensitive towards the army. Congress says that this program is not only political, but an effort to create public awareness on the issues of the country's security and honor.
