The administration is fully alert regarding the preparations for the state level program to be held in Barwani on World Sickle Cell Awareness Day (19 June). Indore Divisional Commissioner Deepak Singh held a meeting at the Barwani Collector's Office to ensure that there is no lapse at any level due to the participation of President Draupadi Murmu in the program. The Divisional Commissioner clearly told the officials that those who have been entrusted with the responsibility, should fulfill it with full dedication and seriousness, so that the program is completely successful.
Indore Range Inspector General of Police Anurag was also present in the meeting. During the meeting, all the arrangements like security from the helipad to the main pandal, double barricading, green room, waterproof tents and preventing waterlogging were discussed. Instructions have also been given to make special arrangements for fire safety. The Divisional Commissioner instructed that the entire program venue should be monitored with CCTV and a separate monitoring room should be made. Where officers should be deployed. At the same time, it has been asked to keep a complete record of the vehicles coming and going at the check post.
