Pt. Dhirendra Shastri of Bageshwar Dham made sharp remarks against religious conversion and declared a upcoming Katha in Kolkata.
Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, known as Bageshwar Maharaj, head of the Bageshwar Dham in Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh, has strongly reacted to the issue of religious conversion. During a religious program, he emphasized the need to protect Hinduism, highlighting the state's sensitive districts.
During a religious program held at Bageshwar Dham in Chhatarpur, Bageshwar Maharaj expressed concern over incidents of religious conversion. He stated that Chhatarpur ranks third in Madhya Pradesh, after Balaghat and Mandla, where Hindus are being converted on a large scale. Maharaj categorically stated, "I have nothing to do with any other religion. My sole goal is to protect Hinduism from these attempts." This statement has become a topic of much discussion among devotees.
Bageshwar Maharaj further stated that he is constantly striving to protect Sanatan Dharma. He openly raised this issue before the audience present at the program and called for unity among the Hindu community. In addition, Bageshwar Maharaj announced his upcoming tour. Next month, in October 2025, he will organize the Shri Ram Katha in Kolkata. This story will inspire religious enthusiasm among the devotees of Bengal.
