Devotees Flock, Politics Heats Up
Bhopal,M.P
On the second day of Shakti Parv, large crowds gather at Mai temples. Meanwhile, the Mohan cabinet convenes, and Congress launches a new state-level strategy with Priyanka Gandhi set to boost booth-level strength in Dimni.
Today marks the second day of the Shakti festival Navratri, and the entire city of Bhopal is immersed in devotion to Goddess Brahmacharini. Devotees are flocking to the temples of Goddess Brahmacharini, considered the goddess of penance and chanting. Long queues of devotees have been seen at the Goddess's temples since early morning. Devotees have thronged major Bhopal temples, such as the Birla Mandir, Chola Mandir, and Rani Kamlapati Mandir, to seek her darshan and worship.
Special pujas and havans are being organized in the temples. Devotees are offering flowers, fruits, and sweets to the Goddess. According to pundits, worshipping Goddess Brahmacharini bestows spiritual strength and perseverance. Goddess Brahmacharini is an ascetic, and her worship empowers devotees with self-control and spiritual practice. Today is a particularly important day for chanting and meditation. Tight security arrangements have been made at the city's temples to ensure that devotees face no inconvenience. The administration has deployed additional police forces for crowd management.
Mohan Cabinet Meeting Today
The Mohan Cabinet meeting is scheduled to begin at 11 am today at the Secretariat. Several key proposals are expected to be discussed and approved in this crucial meeting. Chaired by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, the meeting will take decisions on several important issues related to the state's development.
According to sources, several proposals, including stricter policies on old vehicles, the Swami Vivekananda Yuva Shakti Mission for youth, and the Transfer Policy 2025, will be discussed at the meeting. Furthermore, the inauguration of the Bhopal Metro and irrigation projects may also receive the green light.
Congress's New Experiment for the First Time in the State
The Congress has launched a new experiment for the first time in Madhya Pradesh. Priyanka Gandhi will personally lead the strengthening of every booth in Narendra Singh Tomar's Dimni Assembly constituency. The Congress has launched a pilot project called "Strengthen Every Booth" across the country, with the Dimni Assembly constituency, a BJP stronghold, as its focal point in Madhya Pradesh. Congress National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will personally lead this project.
The campaign, which is being launched in five states, one seat each, aims to strengthen the organization at the booth level and convert past losses into victories. Dimani, the current stronghold of Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar, was the seat where Congress lost by a narrow margin in the 2023 Assembly elections. The party suspects foul play, and this is why this seat has been chosen.
