A youth from the bride's side died due to bullet injury during the marriage ceremony ceremony in Bar Ka Pura of Goram Panchayat under Bharouli police station late at night. While another youth was seriously injured. The deceased is the son of Adokhar Sarpanch. The incident happened around 1 o'clock on Friday-Saturday night.
According to the information received from the police, Rajendra Singh Rajput's son's marriage ceremony was to take place in Barkapura. Suddenly celebratory firing started during the marriage ceremony. During the celebratory firing, Priyanshu son of Satendra Pawaiya resident of Adokhar, presently behind Amayan police station and Dilip son of Vijay Baghel resident of Gaheli, who came from the bride's side, got shot.
Priyanshu died due to bullet injury. While Dilip was brought to the district hospital in critical condition. From here he was referred to Gwalior. It is said that the deceased Priyanshu's father is the Sarpanch from Adokhar Panchayat. Also, he was the cousin of the bride.
On receiving the information about the celebratory firing, Bharoli police immediately reached the spot, where after understanding the entire incident, talked to the people present at the wedding ceremony and who did the celebratory firing, were these people firing in a drunken state, police is investigating all these points. Earlier, on April 13, a youth was injured in celebratory firing in Umri area.
