Ahead of Janmashtami, the festive atmosphere has intensified in Madhya Pradesh’s capital Bhopal, where preparations for Govind Dev Ji jhanki competitions are underway in different areas. Awadhpuri has emerged as one of the key locations where tableaux based on Lord Krishna’s life and traditions are being prepared.
According to organisers, the jhanki competition has attracted participation from different parts of the city, with teams working on creative themes and devotional displays.
