Big Action in Gwalior Railway Station Redevelopment Delay

Taking strict action over delay in the redevelopment work of Gwalior railway station, the Deputy Chief Engineer has been transferred. Sudhir Kumar Patel has been assigned the new responsibility.

The Gwalior railway station redevelopment case in Madhya Pradesh has been affected, the Railways has transferred Deputy Chief Engineer Akash Yadav due to the slow pace of work. Sudhir Kumar Patel has now taken over the work in his place.

Actually, action has been taken on the delay in the Gwalior railway station redevelopment project. This action has been taken on the sluggish attitude of the contracting company KPC and the negligence of the officials. Taking action against Deputy Chief Engineer Railway Akash Yadav, who was monitoring the project, he has been removed from Gwalior and transferred to Prayagraj. In his place, Sudhir Kumar Patel has now been given the responsibility of project monitoring.

Let us tell you that the railway redevelopment project is worth Rs 500 crore. Only 50 percent of the work has been done so far. The work of the project is incomplete even in 2025. Whereas its work started in 2022. According to the terms of the tender, the work was to be completed in 24 months.
