BJP’s Election In-Charge Dharmendra Pradhan Arrives in Bhopal; Program & Voter List Declared Today

Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, overseeing the BJP’s Madhya Pradesh state president polls, will arrive in Bhopal tomorrow, June 30. The party will release the official election schedule and voter list today ahead of the round of consultations and candidate announcements, paving the way for a July 1–2 poll process. Sources indicate a possible push for a woman or OBC leader to ensure balanced representation.
The process of election of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president in Madhya Pradesh has intensified. In this connection, central election in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan will come to Bhopal tomorrow on July 1. He will come to Bhopal at 4 pm. A meeting will be held on July 2 regarding the selection of state president. A name will be put forward for the post of president in the meeting. If party sources are to be believed, the election process is expected to be completed by consensus. As part of the election process, the election program will be released by this evening. Voter list can also be released along with the program. Before the election, an important meeting of the party will be held tomorrow evening. In the meeting, senior leaders will discuss among themselves about the president selection process.
Before the process of state president election in BJP begins, the names of potential contenders have also come to the fore. Although all the election processes will be adopted in the party, but it is likely that the situation of voting will not come. The president will be elected unanimously by the party. The names of the potential contenders include current state president MP VD Sharma, former home minister Narottam Mishra, MP Gajendra Patel, Hemant Khandelwal, Union minister Durgadas Uikey, Lal Singh Arya, Rajendra Shukla and Arvind Bhadauria etc.
