Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav congratulated the brave soldiers of the country on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas and bowed at the feet of the sons of Mother India. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will attend the special program of Kargil Vijay Diwas organized at Sainik School, Rewa today. During this, he will pay tribute to the martyrs of the Kargil war along with the students of Sainik School and the people present. The program is being organized amidst the rich cultural and historical heritage of the Vindhya region in Rewa, where the Chief Minister will also inaugurate the 'Regional Tourism Conclave'.
Kargil Vijay Diwas, which is celebrated every year on July 26, marks the victory of the Indian Army in the Kargil War in 1999. On this occasion, the Chief Minister said, "Our soldiers protected the country and defeated the enemy without caring for their lives. Their sacrifice will always inspire us."
