Criminal Case Sought Against Maneka Gandhi Over Land Dispute

Calls for a criminal case against Maneka Gandhi intensify, with allegations of misleading the High Court under false oath in a contentious land dispute.

 

Jabalpur. Demand has been made to register a criminal case against BJP leader Maneka Gandhi over land dispute in Bhopal. Yes, the advocate appearing in the High Court on behalf of Maneka Gandhi's brother VM Singh has said that Maneka Gandhi has tried to mislead the High Court by giving a wrong affidavit to the High Court. Therefore, a criminal case should be registered against her.

Actually, there is a dispute going on between Maneka Gandhi, her sister and her brother VM Singh over the land located in Huzur, Bhopal. A hearing was held in the High Court regarding this. On which VM Singh's advocate said that the Supreme Court has already rejected Maneka Gandhi's petition regarding this land dispute. But despite that, Maneka Gandhi has appealed in the High Court. VM Singh's lawyer said that Maneka Gandhi has only given an affidavit. It was not told that the Supreme Court has already given its verdict in this case, hence a criminal case should be registered against them.

Allegation of trying to grab land without permission

Meanwhile, Maneka Gandhi's lawyer says that her brother VM Singh has tried to grab the land located in Bhopal's Huzur Vidhan Sabha without taking permission from Maneka Gandhi and her sister. While hearing this earlier, the High Court had sought a reply from the Bhopal Collector and the administration.
