Deep Prayers for Peace and Justice for India and Palestine in Eid-ul-Adha Prayers at Bhopal
BHOPAL, MP

In Bhopal, the sacred occasion of Eid-ul-Adha was observed today with great devotion and solemnity.
Thousands of Muslims gathered at the city’s main Eidgah grounds and mosques to offer prayers together, raising their hands in heartfelt supplications for the safety and prosperity of the nation, justice for all, and protection for their Palestinian brothers and sisters.
The Eid prayers expressed not only hopes for the country’s progress and peace but also deep concern and prayers for the innocent children, women, and families worldwide—especially those suffering under oppression in Palestine.
Leading the prayers were prominent religious scholars, including Shahrkazi Mushtaq Ali Nadvi and Maulana Hassan Sahab of Taj-ul-Masajid. They prayed for the establishment of justice across the nation, security along the borders, healing for the sick, and relief for the poor and needy. They also invoked blessings to follow the compassionate path of Sufi saints, sages, and elders to illuminate humanity’s way and mend wandering hearts.
The congregations began early in the morning, with Eidgah prayers commencing at 6:30 AM and subsequent prayers at other mosques—including Moti Masjid, Jama Masjid, and Masjid Bilkis Jahan—held at intervals until 7:30 AM.
Shahrkazi Mushtaq Ali Nadvi emphasized the importance of sacrifice (Qurbani) in Islam and urged everyone to perform it responsibly, maintaining cleanliness and adhering to administrative guidelines, so the sanctity of this holy festival remains intact.
During the prayers, heartfelt du’as were made for lasting peace and harmony within the country, protection from enemies, speedy recovery of the ill, and patience and relief for the oppressed. Repeatedly, special prayers were offered for the strength, safety, and improved conditions of those suffering from hunger, thirst, and injustice in Palestine.
Additionally, supplications were made to follow the path of love and humanity taught by Islamic scholars, Sufis, and elders. The congregation prayed for the triumph of brotherhood, justice, and compassion worldwide, hoping that every heart is filled with love and tolerance.
This year’s Eid-ul-Adha in Bhopal was marked by a peaceful and sacred atmosphere. The sighting of the moon on the 10th of Dhu al-Hijjah, announced by Shahrkazi Mushtaq Ali Nadvi after Maghrib prayers at Moti Masjid on Wednesday, brought people out in large numbers to participate in the celebrations across the city’s mosques and Eidgah grounds.
The event not only served as a spiritual occasion but also strengthened social unity, brotherhood, and the message of global humanity. The Muslim community, while fulfilling their religious duties, highlighted the importance of compassion and human empathy on this holy day.
