Deputy General Manager Suspended for Negligence: Shubham Kumar Faces Action

Shubham Kumar, Deputy General Manager of an electricity company, has been suspended due to negligence in his duties. Action was taken following a review of his performance.

Deputy General Manager of Electricity Company of Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, Shubham Kumar has been suspended. He has been suspended for being absent from the office without authorization and negligence in work.

During the suspension period, Shubham Kumar's headquarters has been fixed as Circle Office Sheopur.

Let us tell you that Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar had held a review meeting in Dabra yesterday. In the meeting, instructions were given to take action against careless officers. The minister was upset with the complaints of unannounced power cuts in summer. People had staged a sit-in protest against the power cuts, while the news of power cuts in the Energy Minister's area was adversely affecting his image. Deputy General Manager Shubham Kumar in the Transmission Maintenance Dabra Division under Gwalior Circle has been found to be negligent in power supply services.

Acting on the instructions of the minister, the Deputy General Manager has been suspended.
