Forest Guard Recruitment Under Scrutiny: 113 Results on Hold

The investigation of Madhya Pradesh Police Constable Recruitment Fraud has now reached the Forest Guard Recruitment. The investigating teams have also found signs of irregularities in the Forest Guard examination. The MP Staff Selection Board has caught some unusual patterns. On this basis, the result of 113 successful candidates has been withheld for the time being.

Let us tell you that in the year 2022, the Forest Department had issued recruitment for 1670 Forest Guard and Area Guard (Executive) posts. The online examination was held between 25 May to 20 June 2023. About one lakh candidates appeared in the examination. The final result was released on 13 December 2024. ESB has so far sent a list of 1340 candidates to the Forest Department. Out of these, 1173 candidates have been appointed. 167 candidates have not been able to join, so their verification has also not been done.

ESB Director Saket Malviya said that wherever an unusual pattern is seen in the result, the result is held. Then a detailed investigation is done. The final result is released only after being satisfied with the investigation.
