Former CM Digvijay in Kannaud, relief to tribals after assurance

Former CM Digvijay Singh reached Kannaud and discussed issues with the DFO over phone. Tribal society expressed relief after his assurance, while he was seen avoiding a direct response to Jeetu's remark on a drunkard.

Former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh reached Kannaud in Dewas district. He joined the fight of the tribals being fought under the leadership of Congress leader Rahul Inaniya. The forest department was removing the land and houses of the people of 15 villages in the Khategaon area.

Regarding the matter, the officer and former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh has made it clear that no action will be taken on 15 villages. Digvijay discussed with the DFO of the Forest Department over the phone. The DFO said that some villages will not be removed, nor will any action be taken. The DFO also assured a written assurance over the phone. Digvijay held a meeting with the people of the tribal society at Sai Palace Garden in Kannaud on Ashta Road and after listening to their problems, discussed with the officials.

Our correspondent asked that Jeetu Patwari gave a controversial statement about the women of Madhya Pradesh, on hearing this, he got furious and was seen avoiding questions. Without answering the questions, he removed the mic ID and moved forward.
