Govt Files Caveat in High Court, Issues Public Service Promotion Rules 2025

The government filed a caveat in the High Court amid legal anticipation and released the Public Service Promotion Rules 2025 on Thursday, outlining new guidelines for employee advancement.

The government has filed a caveat in the High Court for the promotion rules in Madhya Pradesh. The caveat has been filed in view of the warning of the employee organizations to go to court. This caveat has been filed by the General Administration Department of the government.

 The caveat has been filed in the Jabalpur main bench of the High Court along with Gwalior and Indore benches.

 Let us tell you that the Public Service Promotion Rules 2025 have been issued on Thursday. The SAPAKS organization has announced to approach the court against these rules. The General Administration Department has requested the High Court that if anyone challenges the promotion rules or any of its provisions, then advance information should be made available to the Advocate General's office, so that the government can present its side in the court before any order is passed.

Promotion process also started

Here, as soon as the promotion rules are implemented, the process of promotion has also been started in the state. According to the General Administration Department, the process of formation of Departmental Promotion Committee has been started. First of all, the General Administration Department will start the process of DPC, so that other departments can give promotion on the basis of this guideline.
