Guru Purnima Festival: CM Dr. Mohan Yadav to Attend State-Level Program in Bhopal

A state-level Guru Purnima celebration is being organized today at Sandipani Girls School in Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will participate in the event to honor the contribution of teachers and gurus. The program will feature cultural performances and speeches on the importance of guru-shishya tradition.
Many programs will be organized across Madhya Pradesh on Guru Purnima today on Thursday. There will be two-day Guru Purnima Mahotsav programs in all the schools of the state. CM Dr. Mohan Yadav will attend the program to be held in the capital Bhopal. Where along with the inauguration of the new building of Sandipani School, the Chief Minister will also launch the cycle distribution program.
The state level program of Guru Purnima will be held at Kamala Nehru Sandipani Kanya Vidyalaya located in Tatya Tope Nagar, Bhopal. During the program starting at 12.30 pm, the Chief Minister will inaugurate the new building of the school constructed at a cost of 36 crores. There will be free transportation facility for students coming from a distance of 10 kilometers in this school.
Free bicycle distribution
Along with this, he will also inaugurate the free bicycle distribution to the students. This year, free bicycles will be given to about 4 lakh 30 thousand students in the state. An amount of 195 crores will be spent on this. Let us tell you that on Guru Purnima, the School Education Department is organizing a two-day program in all the schools of the state. During the program, students are being informed about the importance of Guru Purnima and the traditional Guru-Shishya culture during the prayer meeting.
An essay writing competition has also been organized for the students on the topic of Gurukul system prevalent in ancient times and its impact on Indian culture. On the second day of Guru Purnima, programs will be organized to light lamps in front of Maa Saraswati, lectures on the importance of Gurus by teachers and students and honoring of Gurus and teachers.
