The High Court has raised questions in the case of suicide of tribal youth Nilesh in Sagar. The court asked what action was taken in this case? The High Court has directed the government advocate to present the answer.
In fact, the wife of the deceased has filed a petition in the High Court for a CBI inquiry. It was alleged that the suicide was committed under pressure from former minister and BJP MLA Bhupendra Singh. It was complained that the supporters of the BJP MLA had kidnapped and beaten the deceased. The deceased had released a video before committing suicide and told his story. But despite having all the evidence, the police did not register an FIR.
The family of the deceased says that Nilesh was pressured by the BJP MLA to implicate his election rival in the SC ST Act. When the deceased realized his mistake, he released a video and told his story. He alleged that he had received threats from the BJP MLA for releasing the video. When he revealed the truth, the deceased was kidnapped and beaten up. After which, fed up with the harassment, he committed suicide. Now the next hearing of the case will be on August 13.
