The joint team of district administration and food department found it fake in the preliminary investigation. After this, the sample has been sent to the lab for final test.
The team of food department led by SDM City Rahul Siladia took action on the information of the informer. The team has seized the paneer while it was being taken to the market. According to food inspector Abhishek Gaur, in the preliminary investigation, the paneer was not found to be as per the standards. The paneer was sent from Bhopal to a person named Deep of Satna.
The food inspector said that due to lack of complete details on the parcel, there is difficulty in identifying the sender and the recipient. The administration is investigating the matter. Currently, due to the wedding season, the demand for paneer is high in the market. It is feared that some local traders may have ordered fake paneer from outside to meet this demand.
