Hindu Mahasabha’s Tribute & National Pledge in Omkareshwar
In Omkareshwar, Hindu Mahasabha paid tribute to the departed with tarpan, tonsure, and collective prayers, pledging to protect the nation.
Hindu Mahasabha paid collective tribute to the devotees who died in the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, by performing tarpan and tonsure at Omkareshwar Gaumukh Ghat. As per Hindu tradition, condolence was expressed and a pledge was also taken to create awareness in the society and protect the nation.
The event was organised under the guidance of Saint Soumitradas Tyagi Bapu (State Officer, Saint Mahasabha). Tribute was paid by performing tarpan with Narmada water and tonsure as per scriptures. Many senior officials and workers of Hindu Mahasabha were present in the programme. Tyagi Bapu said, “The incident in Kashmir is not only a message of pain but also a message of consciousness. Until the Hindu society is united and vigilant for self-defense, such incidents will keep happening. This event is a symbol of self-realization of the Hindu society.
National Defense and Social Resolution
State Vice President and ex-serviceman Pradeep Singh Thakur said, along with protecting the borders of the country, it is now the time to be vigilant against terrorism spreading within the society. Hindu Mahasabha is committed to the security and rights of every section of the society. District Organization Minister Pt. Jeetu Dubey said, this program is not just a tribute, but a means to unite the Hindu society and awaken consciousness against Islamic fundamentalism. We also expect the government to take immediate action against illegal intruders living in the country. In the end, all the people present took a pledge to work for the protection of the nation and religion on the banks of Narmada.
