Independence Day Celebrated at BJP and Congress Offices in MP, Jeetu Patwari Expresses Disappointment

Both BJP and Congress offices in Madhya Pradesh marked Independence Day with celebrations. Congress leader Jeetu Patwari said the country stood united against Pakistan but later felt disappointed.

Independence Day is being celebrated with great pomp in Madhya Pradesh today. Flag hoisting took place in BJP and Congress offices. CM Dr. Mohan Yadav and BJP State President hoisted the tricolor in BJP and Jeetu Patwari in Congress office.

'The sons of the country brought us freedom'

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said, 'We should not forget the price paid for independence. The sons of the country brought us freedom. May God not cast an evil eye on India. This is the time of India's pride, India's progressive era. Modiji's next term will also be discharged with full capability and full gentleness.'

'Sacrifice should not go in vain'

BJP State President Hemant Khandelwal said, 'The sacrifice of those who sacrificed their lives to bring freedom to the country should not go in vain. It is the responsibility of all of us. The country is moving forward under the leadership of Modiji.'

MP Congress President Jeetu Patwari gave the party's message after flag hoisting. He said, 'The role of Congress in the 78-year journey of independence is not hidden from anyone. Congress is not just a political party but an ideology. Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, world peace is our ideology. Constitution and humanity are our ideology. When India becomes Vishwaguru, we will come first, then the ideology of Congress will lead.'

Patwari said- The country had united against Pakistan, but was disappointed

He further said, 'Congress has not only contributed to the independence of the country, but also contributed to unity and integrity. Congress will fight to save the Constitution, the right to vote. It is our resolve to save the autonomy of constitutional institutions. The poor in the country are becoming poorer. Unemployment, drug addiction, women's safety, rising inflation are challenges for the country. Caste census, identifying the poor is our objective. The BJP government is sending lawyers to the court to stop 27% OBC reservation. The country had united against Pakistan, but was disappointed.'
