There is a temple among the dense hills of Satpura's queen Pachmarhi, which is known as the path of Naglok or Nagdwar. It is believed that this mysterious path among the dense forests in Pachmarhi leads directly to Naglok. To reach its door, one has to climb 7 dangerous mountains and search the dense forests in the rain, only then you can reach Nagdwari.
16 km long walk, takes two days
Devotees set out in the morning to visit Nag Devta. It takes 2 days for the devotees to return after completing the 16 km long hill journey. Every year thousands of devotees reach here to visit Nag Devta. The cave of Nagdwari temple is about 35 feet long. It is believed that the wishes of those who visit Nagdwar are definitely fulfilled. Every year, on the occasion of Nag Panchami, a large number of devotees from Narmadapuram, Betul, Chhindwara and especially from many districts of Maharashtra reach Nagdwar to have darshan of the serpent god and seek blessings for the fulfillment of their wishes.
