The second season of the Madhya Pradesh League (MPL) is set to begin in Gwalior on June 12. Mahan Aryaman Scindia launched the official trophy and new jersey for the tournament. The MPL Scindia Cup 2025 cricket tournament will be organized in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh from 12 to 24 June at the ground of Shrimant Madhavrao Scindia International Cricket Stadium Shankarpur. Both women and men's teams of fast cricket T20 will participate in it. The women's championship match will be played on June 23. At the same time, the men's final match will be played on June 24. Gwalior Divisional Cricket Association Vice President and MPL Chairman Mahanaryaman Scindia unveiled the jersey and trophy of MPL teams in a colorful program organized in Gwalior.
On this occasion, Mahanaryaman Scindia said that it is a big achievement for cricket in Madhya Pradesh that in the second year of Madhya Pradesh Premier League MPL, the women's cricket team of Madhya Pradesh will show their charisma in fast cricket. The Scindia family has a very close and old relationship with cricket. Taking this tradition further, T20 MPL was started in the state last year. In which teams from all the divisions of the state are participating. Women's team is also joining from this season. Madhya Pradesh has become the first state in the country to achieve this feat. Bundelkhand Bulls, Rewa Jaguar, Bhopal Leopard, Chambal Gharial and Indore Pink Panther will show their games. Three women's teams Chambal Gharial, Bundelkhand Bulls and Bhopal Walbus are participating in the tournament.
