MP Cabinet Meeting: Key Proposals to Be Approved in Crucial Meeting Led by CM Mohan Yadav Today

An important meeting of the Madhya Pradesh Cabinet, headed by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, is scheduled for today. Several major proposals related to development, infrastructure, and welfare schemes are likely to be approved during the session.
An important cabinet meeting is going to be held today at 11 am in the capital Bhopal under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. In this meeting, many important proposals will be discussed and decisions will be taken, which will affect the issues related to the farmers of the state, energy department and social welfare.
The most prominent proposal is related to the loan of Rs 3500 crore by Markfed for the purchase of moong. The Department of Farmers Welfare and Agriculture Development will discuss this loan in the cabinet. The government will guarantee this loan, due to which the banks will provide this amount at a low interest rate of 2%. Along with this, the government will also bring a proposal to bear the cost of moong purchased in excess of the target, which will facilitate the farmers to sell their produce at the Minimum Support Price (MSP).
Apart from this, a proposal to abolish 200 useless posts in the Energy Department will also be brought in the cabinet. This step is being taken to increase the efficiency of the department and better use of resources. Besides, in the field of social welfare, the proposal to open 66 new Anganwadi centres is also likely to be approved, which will promote the nutrition and education of children and women in rural areas.
