MP Investment Push: Mohan Yadav Holds Talks in Dubai
Digital Desk
CM Mohan Yadav is leading MP's investment outreach at AIM Congress 2026 in Dubai, focusing on manufacturing, logistics, AI and infrastructure.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav is leading a state delegation at the Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) Congress 2026 in Dubai, as the government seeks to attract international capital across manufacturing, logistics, technology, infrastructure and other sectors.
The three-day visit runs from September 7 to September 9, with the Madhya Pradesh delegation using the global investment platform to present opportunities under the state's “Invest MP” campaign.
Global investors in focus
The Dubai visit is part of Madhya Pradesh's broader strategy to position the state as an investment destination for international companies.
The AIM Congress brings together investors, government representatives and business leaders from across the world. The state delegation is holding discussions with potential investors on sectors where Madhya Pradesh has been seeking fresh investment.
Logistics and manufacturing opportunities
Among the areas receiving attention are logistics, manufacturing, food processing, petrochemicals and infrastructure.
CM Yadav's meetings have included discussions with international business and government representatives about expanding cooperation in advanced manufacturing, petrochemicals, food processing and logistics.
The state is particularly looking to leverage its central geographical location and industrial corridors to attract companies seeking access to India's large domestic market.
Investment proposals need to be distinguished from final projects
The Madhya Pradesh government has highlighted large investment proposals during the Dubai engagement, with reports putting the combined value at more than ₹53,000 crore.
However, investment proposals and expressions of interest should not automatically be treated as completed investments. Actual project implementation generally depends on agreements, approvals, land, financing and other regulatory clearances.
The reported proposal attributed to Rana Holdings is therefore best understood as an investment proposal rather than money already invested in the state.
Indore-Pithampur logistics potential
The Indore-Pithampur industrial region remains an important focus for logistics-related investment.
Discussions have included the possibility of developing logistics infrastructure, including a rail-linked logistics facility, which could improve movement of industrial cargo from the Pithampur manufacturing belt.
Better rail and multimodal connectivity could help companies reduce transportation costs and strengthen the region's position as an industrial and export hub.
Technology and AI also on agenda
Madhya Pradesh is also seeking investment and partnerships in emerging technology.
During his Dubai engagements, Yadav discussed possible cooperation in AI, digital governance and technology projects with international representatives, including a meeting with World Bank Vice President for Digital and AI Sangbu Kim.
The state has increasingly presented digital infrastructure and technology as part of its wider investment proposition.
Focus now shifts to implementation
The Dubai outreach gives Madhya Pradesh an opportunity to showcase its industrial potential to global investors.
The more important test, however, will be converting investment proposals into signed agreements, operational projects, employment opportunities and actual capital expenditure in the state.
