MP Youth Congress Elections: Membership and Voting Schedule Announced; 18 Contestants in the Fray for State President

The Madhya Pradesh Youth Congress is set to undergo a major organizational reshuffle, with official dates for membership enrollment and voting now confirmed. As per the announcement, the membership and voting process will run from June 20 to July 19, with results expected shortly after the vote count.

 

To participate, aspiring voters must enroll as members by paying a membership fee of ₹50. This membership grants them eligibility to cast votes for six key leadership positions within the Youth Congress structure.

According to the election commission overseeing the process, membership applications will be accepted until 5 PM on July 21. Voting will commence daily from 9 AM starting June 20 and continue through July 19, giving members ample time to participate.

Voting will be held for the following positions:

  • Block President

  • Assembly President

  • District President

  • District General Secretary

  • State President

  • State General Secretary

Each enrolled member will be able to vote for one candidate per position, totaling six votes per person.

In the race for the State Youth Congress President, 18 candidates have filed nominations. The contenders include:
Javed Patel, Yogita Singh, Neeraj Patel, Geeta Kadwe, Abhishek Parmar, Vishwajeet Singh Chauhan, Vinay Pandey, Pramod Singh, Priyesh Choukde, Rajveer Kudiya, Abdul Kareem Siddiqui, Shubhangana Raje, Ashish Chaubey, Yash Ghanghoria, Sweety Patil, Devendra Singh Dadu, Shivraj Yadav, and Monika Mandre.

Meanwhile, 178 candidates are running for the State General Secretary post, reflecting intense competition and interest in the organization’s future.

This election is seen as a key opportunity for emerging leaders to establish themselves within the party framework and play a decisive role in shaping the next generation of Congress leadership in Madhya Pradesh.
