In the 2025 Padma Awards, two distinguished personalities from Madhya Pradesh have been conferred with the Padma Shri for their exceptional contributions. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav congratulated the awardees, acknowledging their dedication and achievements that have brought pride to the state.

President Draupadi Murmu presented the Padma Awards 2025 at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Monday (29 April). Her Excellency honored a total of 71 people with Padma Awards. Which includes 4 Padma Vibhushan, 10 Padma Bhushan and 57 Padma Shri awards. Two people from Madhya Pradesh have been awarded Padma Shri. Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav has congratulated on this achievement.

Madhya Pradesh folk singer Bherusingh Chauhan has been awarded Padma Shri in the field of arts and Shalini Devi Holkar in the field of trade and industry for her outstanding contribution to promoting handloom industry and empowerment of artisans. CM Dr Mohan Yadav has expressed happiness over the conferment of Padma Shri award to two personalities of Madhya Pradesh by President Draupadi Murmu and congratulated them.
