On the occasion of the death anniversary of world famous singer Mohammad Rafi Sahab, 'Rafi Night' was organized. Local artists performed in Datia, Madhya Pradesh. Artists lit up the flame on Rafi Sahab's songs.
If anyone touched millions of hearts in the golden era of Indian music, it was the voice of Mohammad Rafi. Whose songs are still on people's tongues. But on 31 July 1980, this voice became silent forever. Yesterday was the 45th death anniversary of Mohammad Rafi. On this occasion, 'Rafi Night' was organized in Datia district of Madhya Pradesh.
Local artists gave one better than the other performances in the 'Rafi Night' program on the night of 31 July at Ratan Vatika in Datia. The audience was enthralled with many superhit songs like Tum Mujhe Yun Bhula Na Paaoge Jab Bhi Suno Ke Geet Mere Sang Sang Tum Bhi Gunaoge, Likhe Jo Khat Tujhe Wo Teri Yaad Mein, Tu Is Tarah Se Meri Zindagi Mein Shamil Hai and many more.
This program continued till late night, in which many artists sang Rafi sahab's songs. While talking to the media, local artists said that such events are organized every year and new artists are given a chance on this platform, so that their talent can come to the fore.
