Raja Bhoj Airport Sees Drop in Flyers

17,000 fewer passengers recorded this year compared to last; reduced flight services cited as main reason.

The effect of fewer flights from Raja Bhoj Airport in Madhya Pradesh was seen. There was a decrease of about 17 thousand passengers as compared to August last year. However, there has been a slight increase in the number of passengers in August as compared to July this year.

The number of passengers has decreased due to the cancellation of IndiGo's Delhi flight from July 1 and the reduction in the number of trips to Bengaluru. The number of flight movements was 1227 last August, which has come down to 1061 this time. 1.17 lakh passengers arrived in the month of August this year, which is 17 thousand less than last year.

Let us tell you that the second Bengaluru flight is starting again from the month of September. The flights already being operated will also be operated every day. Along with this, IndiGo is also going to restart the Delhi flight.
