Rani Durgavati University: SIT questioned Vice Chancellor and others, CCTV of University confiscated, know what is the matter

SIT has now started investigation into the allegations of harassment of a female officer against the Vice Chancellor of Rani Durgavati University.
In this episode, SIT questioned the Vice Chancellor and technical staff of the university. The SIT team asked many questions to the Vice Chancellor and technical staff. Sit also questioned the then Registrar. Apart from this, the main accused Vice Chancellor Professor Rajesh Verma and the heads of the department were also questioned for hours and finally the CCTV cameras installed in the university were seized.
Let us tell you that to investigate the allegations against the Vice Chancellor of Rani Durgavati University, the Madhya Pradesh High Court had directed that the allegations against Rajesh Verma will be investigated by the SIT. The court directed the DGP of Madhya Pradesh that for this an SIT of three senior IPS officers has been formed. Not only this, the court also directed that all three officers should be from outside Jabalpur district. The court has directed the SIT to submit its investigation report by June 16. Earlier, the court had expressed dissatisfaction with the investigation report.

It has been alleged that during a meeting on November 21, 2024, the Vice Chancellor not only made obscene gestures to the woman officer but also made indecent remarks. The matter has been complained to the high level officials of Bhopal. This is the reason why the woman has approached the court as no appropriate action was taken on the complaint.
