On September 25 in Ganigma village of Devtalab, The incident took place. Tehsildar BK Patel, who grabbed the collar of a farmer in Mauganj, has been suspended by Rewa Commissioner BS Jamod. After the matter came to light, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav had ordered action.

Collector Sanjay Kumar said- Tehsildar BK Patel has responded that people there threatened him by taking out iron crowbars. They ran with the intention of assault. In such a situation, Patel took action against the farmers for self-defense to prevent the law and order situation from deteriorating.

The Collector informed that the investigation of the matter has been handed over to the Additional District Magistrate, i.e., ADM. The ADM has been instructed to submit the report by Sunday.

There was a land dispute

There was a land dispute between two Prajapati families in Ganigma village. After the court's decision, the administration had arrived to give possession to the winning party. During this, Tehsildar Virendra Patel lost control and grabbed the collar of Sushmesh Pandey, a farmer from the village, and manhandled him. He said - Who are you? Don't talk nonsense.

Meanwhile, another farmer, Kaushlesh Prajapati, had also accused the Tehsildar of abusing him.

The video was edited

On the matter, Tehsildar BK Patel had stated that the video being circulated on social media is misleading, and has been presented after being wrongly edited. He had said that the case was of the civil court and it was mandatory for the administration to comply with the court's order.

The opposing party created an obstruction

Naib Tehsildar Umakant Sharma of Devtalab was also present at the spot. He had said that the Tehsildar was confused, which led to this situation.

Naib Tehsildar Umakant Mishra had said - On September 25, we went to Ganigma village to comply with the order of the Civil Court. The action of handing over possession was to be taken between two Prajapati families. Tehsildar Mauganj BK Patel, along with TI of L?? Police station and Nazir of Civil Court, were also present. When documents were requested from both parties, the opposing party did not provide any documents. He became angry and started obstructing government work. The opposing party used abusive language. At that time, police force was also not available in sufficient numbers, so the matter was finally calmed down by persuasion.

Controversies

 Tehsildar Patel has a long history of controversies. Previously, he was accused of misbehaving with advocates and providing false information when requested under RTI. At that time, he had also written that lawyers are not citizens of India. Following this, lawyers submitted a memorandum to the Mauganj Collector.

 

Allegation

The Prajapati family alleged that Tehsildar Patel is a resident of Mauganj district. According to rules, an officer is not posted in their home district to maintain impartiality. The Tehsildar's entire family lives in Ward No. 6 of Nai Garhi, where his four brothers reside.
