A man seeking relief for a toothache is given the wrong pill by a medical store owner—moments after taking it, he tragically dies, raising questions about negligence and accountability.

 Jhabua. A shocking case has come to light in Jhabua district of Madhya Pradesh where the victim died after being given a different medicine instead of the one for toothache. After the death, the family members created a ruckus. On hearing the news of the ruckus, the police reached the spot and sealed the medical store. The police is investigating the matter.

In fact, Rekha Bai, a resident of Dharampuri near Jhabua, had gone to India Medical Stores in Jhabua yesterday to get medicine for toothache, but the medical store operator gave her a different medicine. The woman died shortly after going home and consuming the medicine. On the complaint of the family members, Jhabua Kotwali Police has started proceedings by registering a case. Superintendent of Police Padma Vilochhan Shukla said that further action will be taken on the basis of CCTV footage and PM report. After the incident, the police has also sealed the medical store. The family members created a ruckus after the death of the woman and have demanded strict action against the medical operator.
