Residents across 16 localities of Raigarh city will face a scheduled power outage of up to four hours on Friday as the electricity department continues work to replace open overhead wires with covered cables ahead of the summer season. The shutdown is part of an ongoing safety and infrastructure upgrade programme aimed at reducing accidents and improving reliability in densely populated urban areas.
