Ranveer Singh-starrer Dhurandhar has crossed the ₹800-crore mark at the global box office within just 17 days of its release, cementing its position as the biggest film of the actor’s career. The film has earned ₹805 crore worldwide so far, making it the second highest-grossing film of 2025 across all languages.
According to trade figures, Dhurandhar collected ₹38.5 crore on its second Sunday, following a strong ₹34.25 crore haul on Saturday. Its domestic net collection currently stands at ₹555.75 crore, with overseas markets contributing significantly to its global total. Industry trackers attribute the sustained momentum to strong word-of-mouth and repeat viewership.
With these numbers, Dhurandhar has surpassed major releases such as Chhaava and Saiyaara, both of which performed strongly at the box office earlier this year. Among films released in 2025, only the Kannada blockbuster Kantara: A Legend Chapter One remains ahead, with worldwide earnings of ₹850 crore. Trade analysts note that if current trends continue, Dhurandhar could soon overtake Kantara to become the year’s highest-grossing film.
The film has also rewritten Ranveer Singh’s personal box office record. Until now, his 2018 period drama Padmaavat, which earned ₹572 crore globally, was his highest-grossing film. Dhurandhar has exceeded that figure by a wide margin in less than three weeks. Other major hits in Singh’s career include Simmba, Bajirao Mastani, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, and Gully Boy.

Among the biggest films of 2025 across languages, Dhurandhar currently ranks second, followed by Chhaava, Saiyaara, and Rajinikanth’s Coolie.
Riding on the success of the first installment, the makers have announced Dhurandhar 2, scheduled for release on March 19, 2026. The sequel is expected to clash with Yash’s upcoming film Toxic and will reportedly expand its narrative to include high-profile characters such as Dawood Ibrahim, raising anticipation further among audiences and trade circles.
