The sequel is being directed by Nitin Kakkar, known for films like Filmistaan and Jawaani Jaaneman, replacing original director Mohit Suri. Bilal Siddiqui has penned the screenplay, while Vishesh Bhatt returns as producer under the Vishesh Films banner.

Disha Patani has been confirmed as the female lead opposite Emraan Hashmi. According to industry sources, Patani was immediately drawn to the emotional arc of her character and gave an instant confirmation to join the project. While Emraan reprises his iconic role as Shivam Pandit, details about Disha's character remain under wraps.
