For Avinash Jain, music has been a lifelong passion. Since childhood, he dreamed of becoming a singer and pursued music at different stages of life. However, despite numerous attempts, success remained elusive. Like many dreamers, life took him down different paths, and his musical aspirations gradually took a backseat.
Everything changed one night when Avinash was putting his three-year-old son to sleep.
As he lay beside his child, he began writing and humming a simple lullaby. To his surprise, his son instantly connected with the tune and told him how much he loved it. That innocent reaction sparked something within Avinash that had been dormant for years.
"That moment changed everything for me. I thought to myself, if a three-year-old child can connect with just a few lines I've written, why can't I complete the song? Why can't I give my dream another chance?" says Avinash Jain.
Inspired by that moment, Avinash began revisiting the unfinished lyrics, melodies, and ideas he had accumulated over the years. What once existed as fragments of songs slowly evolved into complete compositions. Those compositions eventually became NAZAR—a project that mirrors the emotional highs and lows of chasing a dream.
The first chapter of the album, titled "Lost At Sight", is represented by the song "Baar Baar".
