Hema Malini Shares Health Update on Dharmendra: “Thank God, He’s Fine Now”

Hema Malini was spotted at the Mumbai Airport on Monday morning. As soon as she stepped out of her car, paparazzi greeted her and asked about Dharmendra’s condition. With folded hands, she smiled and said, “He’s fine now, thank God.” She was seen wearing an elegant off-white floral print suit and even asked the photographers about their well-being.

Dharmendra Was Admitted Due to Breathing Difficulty

According to reports, Dharmendra was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on Friday, October 31, after experiencing breathing problems. Journalist Vicky Lalwani shared on social media that the actor was kept in the ICU for observation. Citing hospital staff, he said, “Dharmendra had some difficulty breathing, but there’s no cause for concern. He’s stable now. All his vital parameters — heart rate (70), blood pressure (140/80), and urine output — are normal.”

Meanwhile, an India Today report mentioned that the actor was hospitalised for a routine medical check-up.

Dharmendra to Turn 90 in December

Dharmendra, who will turn 90 on December 8, continues to remain active in films. He will next be seen in ‘Ikkees’, directed by Sriram Raghavan. The film stars Agastya Nanda, Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson, in the lead role as young soldier Arun Khetarpal from the 1971 Indo-Pak war. Dharmendra plays the role of his father, M.L. Khetarpal.
